研究兴趣 

 

1. 澄江生物群中的疑难化石与动物门类早期辐射演化
澄江生物群是研究寒武纪早期动物门类快速辐射演化(即
寒武纪生命大爆发)最重要的地质窗口之一;目前共报道有250多个动物物种,其中大部分种类可以归属到现生动物的门级类群;但仍40多种分类位置不定的化石种类,如云南虫、古虫等,它们通常具有独特的基本构型(body plan),或者同时具有多个动物门类的特征,因此被统称为疑难化石。疑难类群可能是揭示早期动物门类身体基本构型分化的重要线索,从多学科交叉的角度(如埋藏学、比较形态学、个体生态学以及演化-发育生物学等)对这些疑难类群进行综合研究将有助于我们理解五亿多年前发生的生命演化事件。

 

2. 澄江生物群背景层泥岩中软躯体化石

由于保存质量相对较差,云南东部寒武系筇竹寺组玉案山段(澄江化石的主要赋存层位)背景层泥岩中的软躯体化石一直缺少关注。但最近的研究显示,这些化石的保存方式独特,偶尔也可以保存非常精美的内部解剖特征。深入研究这些背景层化石的形态解剖学及保存途径不但能深入了寒武纪生命大爆发的内涵提供新证据,也是研究全球范围内BST型化石保存机制的重要线索

 

3. 多足动物(Myriapoda)的谱系年代学

多足动物是现生节肢动物门四个主要类群(螯肢动物多足动物 “甲壳动物六足动物)之一,全部为陆生,是现代陆地生态系统重要的组成部分。但由于生活环境的制约,多足动物化石记录极其稀少;如何示踪多足动物的演化以及它们与环境之间的适应关系是目前多足动物研究的难点问题。现代分子钟概念是探寻生物谱系分歧时间的重要技术手段;结合分子系统学、分子钟估算以及化石记录等综合证据,可以建立多足动物的谱系年代学,示踪多足动物的演化过程。目前主要集中在倍足纲(多足动物最大的纲)的分类学、分子系统学和谱系年代学研究。
